How CaviteNest Began
CaviteNest was born in November 2024 as a capstone project by four students from Cavite State University — Cavite City Campus. The team was composed of one UX designer who shaped the visual experience, and three fullstack developers who built the platform from the ground up.
The project was created to address the lack of a dedicated, reliable platform for property rentals — connecting lessors and lessees in a seamless and transparent way.
After the capstone was defended, the project was set aside — until Karl, one of the original developers, took it upon himself to continue and elevate the platform in 2026. With a renewed vision, CaviteNest is now being rebuilt to be more polished, more functional, and ready for real-world use across the Philippines.
